Confused? Frustrated? LOST?
Welcome to Library Land. Any similarities between Library Land and the Island of "LOST" is purely coincidental and there certainly isn't a smoke monster, only Swampy, who is very friendly, lives on the 2nd floor of Hannon Library and even has a blog.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I check out books and other materials?
- At the Circulation Desk - in Hannon Library, it is located on the First Floor near the entrance.

I take classes at the HEC. Is there a library there?
- Sort of. There isn't one in the HEC building, but SOU students get library support from the Rogue Community College Library, Medford campus.

Where can I check out a laptop?
- Most of the time, laptop checkout is done by a lab aide or librarian at the Reference Desk location. When neither is available, there should be a sign directing you to the Circulation Desk.
What is SUMMIT?
- SUMMIT is the combined online catalog of many Oregon and Washington academic libraries. Libraries that join SUMMIT agree to lend their circulating material with each other free of charge, with delivery within 5-7 working days... much faster than going through Interlibrary Loan.
